Direct Primary Care
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a new model for delivering Primary Care services which results in better quality of care, improved doctor-patient relationship, better patient satisfaction and significant savings on healthcare costs. Health insurance coverage is strongly recommended, but so called "cadillac" plans with high premiums are designed to have you pre-pay for services you may not need when you have easy access to your primary care team. Why Direct Primary Care?
Many patients long for the days when your family doctor could spend time with you and give customized medical advice that works for you as an individual. Unfortunately, the healthcare system is broken. Most doctors just don't have the time or freedom to practice this way anymore.
Direct Primary Care is an increasingly popular model of care that many independent physicians and their patients are choosing. It puts YOU back in the driver's seat, with your doctor as a trusted advisor to make recommendations that are not influenced by:
-
Insurance company demands (ie pay-for-performance)
-
Drug companies
-
Whether or not your insurance company will pay for the visit.
That means we can do what our patients have come to expect: Keep it real with you!

What It's Not:
Direct Primary Care isn’t insurance—it’s just healthcare the way it should be. You get full access to primary care without the usual headaches.
That means:
-
No co-pays
-
No insurance paperwork
-
No dealing with prior authorizations or third-party middlemen
Keep in mind, DPC doesn’t replace your insurance. You’ll still want insurance for things like hospital stays, ER visits, and specialist care—basically, the big stuff.
